The Experience
The eastern coast of Mexico bordering the Caribbean Sea is home to some of Mexico’s most popular vacation destinations, and features twenty-four luxurious all-inclusive resorts in Cancun, Riviera Maya and the island of Cozumel. This region on the Yucatan Peninsula offers some of the best beaches in the country, championship-caliber golf courses and an incredible mix of ancient Mayan and traditional Mexican culture—it’s a place every traveler will want to experience
Ancient Culture
The ancient Mayan culture can still be widely found across the Yucatán Peninsula—the language and traditions are spoken and practiced today. Experience it for yourself. Explore famous ancient Mayan ruins like Chichen Itza—one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Take part in a Temaczal spa ceremony. Or get married like the Mayans—our resorts in Mexico offer a traditional Mayan wedding package.
Cancun Nightlife
The Cancun Hotel Zone is known for its nightclubs, bars, shows and entertainment. The best way to get the full nightlife experience is on a double-decker tour bus that provides drinks onboard and open bar access at all three of the major, famous nightclubs of Cancun. You’ll enjoy live bongo music at the Congo Bar, games and dancing at Señor Frogs and incredible acrobatic performances and light shows at Coco Bongo.
Cenotes
Cenotes (meaning “sacred well” in Mayan) are natural underground swimming holes. Go for a swim in the mineral-rich turquoise pools. There are thousands of cenotes in the Yucatan peninsula, but a great option is to experience the cenotes named after the four elements: Earth, Wind, Fire and Air.
Diving Explore the Natural Earth Tones
The island of Cozumel is well-known for its fantastic dive sites. Directly offshore is the second largest coral reef system in the world—the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Several of our resorts in Cozumel offer PADI-certified dive centers and packages right on site like Secrets Aura Cozumel and Sunscape Sabor Cozumel. You can even get married underwater.
